Delete that version folder.The Roblox Studio Mod Manager is an open-source alternative bootstrapper for Roblox Studio. Sort by “date modified” in the file explorer to find the most recently modified version. Go back one in the file directory to just AppData. Solution: Open Appdata (search %appdata% in windows search menu), this should bring you to C:\Users\user_name\AppData\Roaming. I just encountered this issue, I can’t believe they haven’t even attempted to fix such a fundamental bug after all this time. Maybe a dev will eventually figure out what this bug is and maybe it won’t be a problem in the future. But at least I can keep developing again. Is it annoying that I have to use another user account to run Roblox Studio… umm heck ya. I really hope this helps anyone else who happens to find this thread in the future. Info for creating a new user account: Link Install Roblox Studio under the new account… and bam you are back in business. (WORKED!!!) Create a new OS (Windows in my case) user account. Then reboot and reinstall Roblox Studio Link And of course check that you have an internet connection. Check Firewall settings and make sure Roblox isn’t being blocked. (didn’t work) Check Router and make sure port forwarding is setup properly. (didn’t work) Check OS (Windows in my case) Proxy settings and make sure OS system clock is setup to synchronize. (didn’t work) Uninstall Roblox Studio, reboot, and reinstall Roblox studio. Although for me it was the last recommendation that worked. I’m listing all steps recommended in case it works for anyone here. Hey everyone! I successfully fixed this issue on my setup after about 10 emails back/forth with Roblox support.
